This takes me back, I started smoking way back in the 90s and this was my favorite strain of all time. To find this in the quality that it is and in the THC percentage that it is absolutely perfect. I ordered an eighth originally and then ordered a quarter immediately after smoking. This is basically just as I remember it, it smells amazing, looks amazing and smokes amazing. Flow Gardens as we all know grows incredible flower and they did not fall short on this one. I will order more.
My Dad said this strain is "mellow" and he gives it a 8 out of 10 stars!
I was born in 95 and live in Texas. So this the first time I've had any NL cut. I really enjoyed it. I really love the fact that flow has a few "heritage" strains available. This was great. I like flavors. If you like trying different flavors check this out
This strain is just so smooth and has great flavor. The effects are even better and truly offer a perfectly relaxing high. The quintessential high if you will
I enjoy this for what it is. Not the northern lights I remember tho.
I will say, I spent more than I’m comfortable with spending in the first year that I learned about thca being shipped across the world. I took a 3-4 month break from buying top shelf, my first purchase back into smoking everyday was Northern Lights #5 from flow gardens and from the updated packaging to the unique smells and flavors in every package I am beyond happy with all my orders from flow, granted I wish I was on their wholesaler list (no business) but for what it’s worth, flow is 10/10 in smoke and flavor.

It checks all the boxes, smell, flavor and effect. Very similar to but not the same as the nl5 from the mid to late 90s that was prominent from the seedbank of Holland and later Sensi seeds.
This is definitely has it in its lineage, but it's clearly a bit worked or selfed or has an outcross to get it in seed form. Very curious to where flow sourced these genetics, as it looks nothing like, or tastes like the heirloom nl5 lots of us are growing from authentic Genetics seed.
Basically perfect. Such a beautiful and serene experience. I have to yet to find a strain that compares to NL#5. Maybe some of the glues and maybe some of the kushes come close, but this is head and shoulders above most everything else.
Was very pleased with this product; have always wanted to try NL but never had the opportunity till now and am glad I picked this one up! Beautiful, piney/floral smelling buds, great taste and effects!! Will get this one again at some point.
Very nostalgic strain right here. The smell is pungent and a throwback. Effects are even better and very relaxing and put the mind ease while improving mood at the same time.
Really impressed! Super frosty buds with a nice, pungent piney and sharp aroma. The way this stuff feels is fantastic. Really soothing body effects (feels like I am under a weighted blanket but also floating into the sky like a balloon) and also completely clear headed in my experience. It really feels to me like the only head change I get from this is just feeling more positive and grateful, but no cerebral or disorganized thoughts. Just a smooth, comfy stone. Not too heavy to couch-lock me!
This stuff gets me stoned like I was back in high-school ?. I really great flower .
This is my go-to for late evening use. It has a very calming effect and is excellent for helping me sleep at night.

this one has an impressive good taste that when vaporize that strong piney and gassy taste lingers in the mouth for a little while and its pretty potent too. its my favorite strain here in fg. followed by cadillac rainbow and lemon skunk.

Very earthy/piney/organic smell. Large nugs with green & purple hues. Very relaxing - nice in the vape.
Don't let the thca percentage fool you on this one, it is potent. The gas mintz has almost double the thca than NL but the NL hits me way harder. Smooth smoke with a subtle but delicious flavor. Definitely indica effects but it doesn't make me sleepy. I find it to be a great and relaxing daytime smoke.
So stoked FG has started making their own vapes. While vapes aren’t my number one consumption method, they do have a time and place and undeniable convenience.
This vape is so flavorful and delicious. It tastes and smells like a pine forest with grape overtones. It’s soo good. My only complaint is the hardware. I wish it were better quality. But still, the flavor is dank.
I’m loving these old strains FG has been releasing. It’s nice to have somebody growing the legacy stuff!

Ever so slightly muted, with a terp profile that I do not care for this was my first and last time I smoke NL#5. Don't get me wrong it's strong and has amazing effects, just too indica dominate for me. Feels like 70-80%indica to me. My head stayed pretty much clear while my body got real heavy. For me the come up was slightly scarey as it made me have to manually breath for like 20 minutes. The ride lasted around 1h 30 mins off of 1 small hit with little to no tolerance. If you enjoy strong indica effects with a slight head euphoria this may be for you.
This is definitely an even hybrid strain, gets the job done but not one of my favorites.
