I knew Capulator’s genetics were great but Flowgarden really did their thing with this! From looks to structure and finally the buzz. It was all amazing. If you remember the good ole days before spray packs and candy this and that you’ll love this! Perfect for someone who wants to have a taste of the past in the present. You’ll love this!
Capulator is the creator of Mac 1. Its genetics are Alien Cookies F2 with Miracle 15. (And D I think I just remembered the name of Denver’s album, The Miracle.) lol. I believe one of the first eighths of Mac 1 I ever bought, if not the first, blew my visual sensory away. It just looked so white and trichomed out, iced out lol. It was in a plastic container and trichomes were scattered all over the sides and bottom of the container. At that time, it was the most beautiful flower/bud I’d ever seen. That was until Flow Gardens sent me their Caps Cut Mac 1 about a year ago. I think it was an eighth, most likely more because Heather is amazing over there. But my God, it looked like nothing I’d ever seen before. The way it was grown, the climate it was in, the dry, the cure, its moisture percentage, all culminated into that final product. A big factor too, in what made it look so amazing was that I believe it was literally picked off the plant and was untrimmed. So I may have received a bud that was still in the process of drying and curing. Either way, that set the tone/BAR for bud appearance for me. Obviously all flower cannot look that way because of genetics but I think that should be my bar for Mac 1. I’ll include a pic of that bud at the end of this review, it’ll be the very last pic.
Mac 1 is one of my favorite smelling strains. Kind of has that orange creamsicle aroma lol. To me, I know some people may be like wtf? How do you get orange creamsicle off that?? And my response would be, well, hell, that’s just what it smells like to me. With some skunk, funk, added to it. I do love the effects also. It like a good relaxing cup of coffee or a sugar free energy drink without the urge to urinate every so often lol. It’s a creative, relaxing, uplifting just peaceful vibe. I get a little extra sense of motivation when I microdose it.
In my opinion, regarding the few different brands of Mac 1, Flow has grown the best. And I hope I’m not banned from Reddit for saying that but if I am guys, it’s been a hell of a ride/journey having the privilege to review thca hemp products nationwide. I’ve got to see some of the absolute best buds in the USA. And maybe it’s in part due to companies transitioning from growing cbd hemp flower to just thca hemp flower. Either way I hope companies and growers find a way to still become successful in the future. Small batch home grows is something I absolutely want to discover also. I’m sure there are some bomb ? ass looking buds out there some home growers keep to themselves and rightfully so lol.
The appearance of these nugs is beautiful. Reminds me of an iced out hip hop pendant. G Unit cuu. Be safe out there guys.

So to start the bud looks beautiful and smells great. The smoke was actually kinda harsh and the ash burnt really dark almost black as well and didn’t quite taste right to me. The Mac 1 flow grows that’s not cap cut was better honestly In my trial. Luckily I got my stash at discount during half off sale, but I’d be pretty let down if I paid full price. Effects are pretty good as well, again I expected something wayyy stronger and better tasting. Still nice to try.
Average if anything. Harsh aftertaste.

The MAC1 was legit some of the best ove ever had, my brother liked it so much he got right on an ordered some caps cuts in the jars for $45 and they sent my brothers big buns in a bag for $45 when they dont even sell it in 8ths in bags on the site lol and then when he emailed them they said “its the same bud”. Duh then you guys just have the jars for shits and giggles? Lol like i might never order again now thats some bait and switch crap the dispos do. Sad. He would have never ordered an 8th of big buns in a bag for $45. If they dont make it right, never again.
Beautiful potent frosty stinky flower
Been smoking for 25 years daily and buying from the dispensary since 2016 and have had quite a few different growers MAC1 cuts and this is by far the best. Takes me back to the old days, bud you can actually smell. I will be ordering lots more FLOW in the very near future. Worth every penny, $45 is nothing the dispensary would charge $60 plus tax and it will be dry as hell and have zero smell or taste.

Super pretty buds, great flavor and aroma. My second favorite out of the three I ordered (Moon Blend wins overall because of the affects). Can’t go wrong with this though!

This Mac reminded me of some Durban, nicer nose to it but the legs weren't as long. Definitely worth a shot but not an immediate must have, however enjoyable nonetheless!
It had a dank basement smell that translated to the taste as well. Super disappointed.

I’ve not had the Mac nor ever smoked it before purchasing it from Flowgardens. The smoke is pretty good & strong , but not super strong . Nice smell but I get a hint of immaturity & the taste is not as thick as I had hoped. The weight was right on.

Flow, some much needed criticism - PLEASE USE FRESHNESS SEALS ON THE JARS. These are to preserve that lovely scent and flavor we all want to experience. The terps just straight leak out as it sits on the shelf whenever its not sealed properly
No Offense intended, it seemed to be very B grade I was hoping more from a Mac one cut. I hope it’s not all height because I just planted some beans and also the container Cayman wasn’t even screwed on tight. Literally it opened up at a quarter turn, but it did show up on time that’s why I’m giving three stars.
