About Genetics

The library behind the jars

Everything on this page comes out of one of the few serious in-house breeding programs in craft hemp: entire facilities turned over to crosses, phenohunts and selection, and a refrigerated vault holding roughly two million seeds. Feminized seeds from our own lines, clones cut from the proven mothers behind our award-winning flower, and collaborations with breeders we rate. If you grow, this is the shortest path from our genetics to your room.

Why provenance matters more in genetics than anywhere else

Seeds are the easiest product in hemp to fake. A pack costs nothing to print, anyone can relabel bulk genetics, and by the time a grower discovers what they actually bought, six months and a harvest are gone. There is no COA for a seed.

What there can be is a chain of custody. Ours comes with receipts: the mothers behind these lines are the plants behind flower you can buy, review-check and lab-verify on this same site, and the breeder who made each cross is the person answering questions about it. The flower is the proof of the genetics. That chain is the actual product.

Seeds, clones, or both

Plenty of growers buy both: a clone for this run's guaranteed yield, seeds for the hunt that produces next year's keeper.

Why the genetics side is growing now

Because the December 2026 rule change makes trusted, compliant genetics the most valuable thing in hemp. Flower that can't legally be sold is worthless; a line that passes the new maths and still smells of something is worth whatever a farmer will pay. Our program has been breeding for that standard for years rather than scrambling for it now — the full story is here.

At the same time, a library of roughly 165 lines from breeder James Loud is moving through us as his West Coast operation winds down, which puts original cuts of genetics like OG Kush and Granddaddy Purple within reach of growers who could never get them before.

Genetics FAQ

Seeds or clones?

Seeds for vigour, storage and running your own selection; clones for an exact copy of a proven keeper with the hunt already done. Each collection's page covers the trade-offs in detail.

Are these the same genetics as your flower?

Yes — that's the point. The mothers that supply our own grow supply the clone room, and the seed lines come from the same breeding program.

How do I know the genetics are what you say they are?

Because you can buy the flower those genetics produce on this same site, read unedited reviews of it, and open its lab report. That's more verification than almost anyone in seeds can offer.

Can I legally grow?

Rules vary by state and change often — know your local laws before you buy. We can't advise on your state's position.

Do you ship genetics to Europe?

Yes, and we've sold more CBD seed into France, Italy and Spain than we have domestically. Seed ships best in autumn and spring; live plant material is more weather-sensitive still.

Can I talk to the breeder?

Yes. Ask about a line and the person who made the cross answers.
