It was dry with no smell but the smoke was great.

This is a flower I had to try because the parents are awesome. I also wanted something "super duty" as I am lacking this in my flower collection. The first thing I notice with this bud is the bag appeal. Definite, definite bag appeal. Big buds are a landscape of color. Deep greens, bright greens, magnificent orange and white with purple highlights (I use a loupe to examine my buds but this is all visible via naked eye also). Second thing I noticed is the aroma. Mild aroma from a distance but up close, under the nose is sweet sweet candy. Third thing to get into is stickiness. I hand break bud when I first sample it. With this bud it is extremely sticky. After breaking up a bit I can lift a light or coin, even a pipe just by applying pressure. The flavor of the flower is clean and bright but I didn't notice anything outstanding. This is usual with me and herb so I don't spend a lot of time investigating it. Effects for me were first uncomfortable. This is very potent herb and hits like a wrecking ball. I personally don't like the heavy rush as it invokes mild anxiety and panic. My preference for flower is the middle of the road stuff. Good type 2 and lighter 1 are my bread and butter but I always like having a heavy clean up hitter on deck. For me the hard rush was not unexpected with this smoke. After the first hit I chilled for a few minutes and really felt the effects of that one hit. After that I re-engaged the flower for a second hit. After the second hit I felt quite a great deal of peace, not quite euphoria, but all is right in the world. My patience for life was restored. Giggly, smiling. The bud came through on that second hit. This is why I have this type flower in my line up. So it is great but, depending on how you are, be prepared for that big smack. Let it settle for a few minutes, maybe even 15 or so. Then settle in to a potent and gorgeous flower. I say right now that I completely understand throw pillows and throw blankets. I feel really comfy and am enjoying this little review with my pillows and blanket.
